This move comes in response to increasing demand from the U.K. composite industry and enables the company to better serve its customers across the west of England and Wales.
Located near the M4 and M5 motorways, the Avonmouth facility is designed for efficient distribution. This facility enables Hankuk to offer next-day delivery on various prepregs, including tooling, general-purpose prepregs in industry-standard carbon fabrics and weights and specialist prepregs for automotive and aerospace interiors. With a minimum order quantity of a single roll, customers can quickly access high-quality materials.
Hankuk continues to enhance its product offerings with high-performance materials tailored for various sectors, including automotive, aerospace, energy, construction, sports and leisure. The Avonmouth facility is intended to further strengthen Hankuk’s ability to deliver high-productivity press-moldable prepregs..
The G101-1 resin system, one of Hankuk’s advanced prepreg solutions, optimizes surface quality and transparency for automotive and aerospace. Tested to BMW GS 94007 standards, this system is suited for both aesthetic and structural components.
In line with its commitment to innovation, parent company Hankuk Carbon has recently established headquarters in Seoul, complete with a composite woven exterior, symbolizing the company’s development and application of advanced composite materials.
