Innovations deliver improved composite bonding, sealing and structural reinforcement
JEC World 2025: L&L Products is exhibiting newly announced and proven technology solutions for composites fabricators, addressing core, adhesive and sealant needs.
L&L Products (Romeo Mich., U.S. and Altorf, France), a solutions provider for various applications requiring static sealing, composites bonding, improved acoustics, structural reinforcement and composite components, is exhibiting its newly commercialized InsituCore, other novel product developments and the company’s proven technology solutions for composites manufacturing.
L&L Products suite of solutions include:
InsituCore. The foaming core technology is a family of one-component, heat-activated foaming materials that can be used to create composites with foam core. Placed in a heated tool, the material foams to fill the mold cavity and form net-shape parts without time-consuming machining processes or energy-intensive autoclave operations.
T-Link. An engineering thermoplastic adhesive for high performance and processability. To meet a long-existing industry need, T-Link does not require cold storage or special handling and can be consolidated into a composite structure quickly. Due to its thermoplastic nature, T-Link conforms to deep-drawn parts for producing irregularly shaped components.
Phaster. The two-component, ambient-temperature curing technology offers optimal adhesion performance and processing ease in various indoor or outdoor application conditions.
Continuous Composite Systems (CCS). According to L&L, CCS technologies achieve ultra-strong and lightweight body structures at a cost-competitive rate. CCS technologies combine highly engineered sealants and adhesives with a fiber-reinforced composite carrier in a 2D profile, which is designed to provide strength, stiffness and rigidity to a lightweight structure.
Composite Body Solutions (CBS). CBS is a solution combining a foaming adhesive with a highly engineered thermoplastic or thermoset structural carrier. CBS enables lightweight but strong structural applications.
L&L Bond XP-436. A two-component, ambient-temperature cure, toughened structural adhesive. Compared to similar adhesives, this material is typically insensitive to surface contamination and exhibits high wedge impact strength, improved lap shear and peel strengths and optimal anticorrosive properties. The material is isocyanate-free for safer handling.
Advanced composite adhesives and reinforcements. L&L FST solutions provide enhanced acoustics, localized structural reinforcement, and efficient, cost-effective assembly bonding. Clean, safe and efficient solutions, L&L’s solutions enable the high-performance bonding, filling and joining of metal, honeycomb core, thermoplastics and composites, as well as fast and efficient splice bonding and edge finishing suitable for aerospace and aircraft cabin interior applications.
