Vabo Composites hatches, doors to be used in Dutch naval project
Multiyear contract with ASWF Damen Naval will contribute lightweight composite products for the development of modern naval vessels.

Vabo Composites (Emmeloord, Netherlands) announces that it has signed a multiyear contract with Anti-Submarine Warfare Frigate (ASWF) Damen Naval (Vlissingen, Netherlands) for the supply of lightweight composite hatches and doors. This contract marks a new step in the development of modern naval vessels.
ASWF is a naval project initiated by the Royal Netherlands Navy and Belgian Navy to replace existing M-Frigates. In October 2024, Dutch shipyard Damen Naval signed a contract for its own deliverables. Vabo — which has contributed to various international naval programs with its composites expertise — says this new contract is a crowning achievement, underscoring its continuous investment in technology and innovation.
